LIFE CYCLE OF LIVING THINGS
This week we learned about the life cycle of living things and applied this learning by making models of their growth cycle. My partner and I created a 3D model of a sunflowers life cycle. I found that the life cycle was very clear in content understanding. It is very easy to pickup how life cycles work, each stage was extremely clear as well as seeing differences between life cycles of different organism such as a monarch's cycle vs a mealworms.
The activity of creating a model of a life cycle was extremely educational and I plan to use this in my future classroom. Getting a visual and physical model can be very beneficial for everyone but specifically to young minds learning it for the first time.
Hi Amanda! I love your model of a sunflower life cycle. It looks like you guys put a lot of effort into doing that and it looks amazing. I agree that creating models and visuals are helpful when learned for students. I also liked how you included how you will include that in your future pedagogies. Looks great!
